A New Reign..

On Last Sunday, September 18, 2022, three new Queens were crowned on the Jackie Dole Sherill Community Center's stage. Those three Queens will represent Mississippi in the National Miss Black USA Pageant in August 2023 in Washington DC. Those ladies are listed below including their hometowns.


Regan Alexander, Canton, Mississippi- Miss Black Mississippi USA Talented Teen


Trenity Usher, Jackson, Mississippi- Miss Black Mississippi USA

1st Runner Up, Faith Dillon


Torri Alexander, Canton, Mississippi - Ms. Black Mississippi the USA

1st Runner Up, Kimberly Sampson Sanders

2nd Runner Up, Brooke McClinton Simmons


Additional awards were given to the following Queens-


Miss Congeniality- Faith Dillon, Miss Black Rankin County


Community Service Award- Regan Alexander, Miss Black Madison County Talented Teen


Entrepreneurial Award (Most Tickets Sold)- Faith Dillon, Miss Black Rankin County


Most Advertisements Sold- Kimberly Sampson-Sanders, Ms. Black Hinds County

Rich in Color Social Media Contest- Trenity Usher, Miss Black Jackson
