The 2023/2024 Preliminary Season has come to an end in Mississippi
The Miss Black Mississippi USA Pageant Organization has welcomed 6 new Preliminary Queens to the 2025 competition. With a host of more At-large Queens to come, this group of talented young women have showcased their beauty on the stages and within rooms before their family and friends. We now have one more preliminary competition, the Miss Black University competition on February 18, 2024, on the campus of the University of Mississippi. This is the first and only collegiate preliminary competition to become a competition to the state pageant and we are thankful to the National Pan-Hellenic Council for sponsoring this opportunity on the campus. In addition to the preliminary competition winners/contestants, we are welcoming more young ladies to vie for the titles of Miss Black Mississippi USA Talented Teen (ages 13 - 18), Miss Black Mississippi USA (ages 19 - 26), and Ms. Black Mississippi USA (ages 27- 45) to then advance to the national stage in 2025 as representatives of the Magnolia State. Fashion Designers, Boutique Owners, Fashion Retailers.. we're looking for YOU
March 22, 2024, the Miss Black Mississippi USA Pageant organization would like to invite YOU to compete in the Project Runway 2 competition. Last year, five specialty and clothing boutiques had the opportunity to showcase their work on talented models from Jackson State University. We hope that in year 2, we can execute the same, but BETTER. We are looking to award the winner of this year's competition with a $500 cash prize and the opportunity to be the key designer for the 2024 Miss Black Mississippi USA Queens. This event is an official fundraiser for the Queens as they prepare for the national competition July 29 - August 5, 2024, in Washington D.C. Interested in competing? Visit the link here, to apply. The Miss Black Tennessee USA Pageant is seeking contestants to apply for the 2025 Miss Black Tennessee USA Pageant scheduled for October 12-14, 2024 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Applicants will have the opportunity to prepare for the state competition and advance to the national competition in 2025. Pageant Prep 101
Krowned Productions in conjunction with Miss Black Mississippi and Tennessee USA invites contestants from ALL pageant systems to attend Pageant Prep 101 Weekend, June 14 -16, 2024 in Jackson, Mississippi. Professionals from various fields including Runway Coaching and Consultation from Crown Bound Pageant Consulting, Headshot services from a Professional Photographer with The Perfect Shot, a Professional Makeup session with Glow Beaute, an Evening activity, and a community service project to close out this jam-packed weekend. This weekend is specifically for ladies who are preparing for an upcoming pageant. The weekend registration fee is $250, a $1,000 value.
