The Magnolia Queen Duo, Brianna McField (Miss Black Mississippi USA '22) & Jaria Fulton (Miss Black Mississippi USA Talented Teen '22) fulfilled their wildest dreams- to compete on the National Miss Black USA stage. The ladies touched down in the Nation's capitol on Wednesday with the sister Queens from all over the US. In total, there were 40 Queens representing their home states, colleges/universities (and high schools), and communities. On Thursday, the ladies completed orientation, media training and a night on the town at 1996 Miss Black USA’s restaurant, Carolina Kitchen. Friday, the ladies attended a luncheon featuring the National African American History Commission and an evening of fun before the big day- the Miss Black USA Talented Teen and Ms Black USA competitions. Saturday, Jaria competed for the National title of Miss Black USA Talented Teen. Jaria vetted for the crown, earning 2nd runner up. Jaria graced the stage and entertained the crowd in her beautiful pieces and bubbly spirit. Now we’re onto the finale of the weekend, the Miss Black USA competition on Fox Soul.
