Kallie Hargrove is a 27 year old native of Raymond, MS. She graduated from Raymond High School in 2012 and then went on to obtain her bachelors in kinesiology from Hampton University in Hampton, VA. Once Kallie graduated in 2017, she returned to Mississippi and started nursing school at Hinds Nursing Allied Health Center. There she was apart of the Alpha Delta Nu Associate Nursing Honor Society and President of the Student Nursing Organization. After graduating in May 2020, Kallie started her nursing career at UMMC. She has done hematology/oncology nursing and now transitioned to Bone Marrow Transplants.
In 2018, Kallie became the youngest board member of the Mississippi Sickle Cell Foundation where she spearheads their Sickle Cell College Tour. She is personally impacted by sickle cell, and is a long time advocate for the hereditary blood disorder. She has partnered with MS Blood Services on numerous occasions to encourage everyone to donate blood for those like herself and others.
In her spare time she enjoys modeling and has been published twice.
